Created Grove is a purpose-driven micro-school in Millbrae for children ages 7–10. We exist for families who believe learning should be personal, relational, and formative—not rushed, standardized, or disconnected from character and purpose.
Our school integrates academics, faith, and whole-child development inside a small-group, morning-format learning environment. With only 4–6 students per class, teachers can observe how each child thinks, responds, struggles, and grows. No one is pushed ahead without understanding or left behind without help.
We believe children thrive when learning is deep rather than fast, expressive rather than silent, and purposeful rather than aimless. This is why our approach prioritizes conceptual understanding, bilingual expression, real projects, and identity formation rooted in faith.

Founded 2025
Created Grove was founded in 2025 out of a conviction that children deserve more than large classrooms, standardized pacing, and silent struggle. The school began with a simple question:
“What if education was designed around the child, not the system?”
What started as a burden for one family has become a home for families seeking something different—a place where learning is slower but deeper, smaller but richer, quieter in size but stronger in impact.
We were founded on faith, built with intention, and grow by relationship.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a school where children learn with depth, grow with purpose, and discover who God created them to be. We envision a place where a child’s mind is trained, their character is formed, and their identity is affirmed—not by pressure or comparison, but through guidance, relationship, and truth.
We want students to leave Created Grove not only knowing facts, but knowing how to think; not only being capable, but being grounded; not only having skills, but having direction. We pray they will walk forward with confidence, humility, and the understanding that their lives carry design, value, and calling.

About Mr. Toro
Toro Roan is the founder of Created Grove, a purpose-driven micro-school in Millbrae. He brings a unique combination of educational leadership, curriculum design experience, and real-world entrepreneurship, shaped by years of serving families through S.A.M Singapore Math as the California Master Franchisee.
Toro’s work in education began with a simple but serious observation: many children do not struggle because they are incapable—they struggle because no one has the time to understand how they think. This conviction led him to study how children develop reasoning, how attention and learning stamina are built, and how purpose affects motivation. These discoveries became the foundation of Created Grove’s approach: deep academics, clear thinking, meaningful expression, and identity grounded in faith.
Before founding Created Grove, Toro spent years building learning programs, training instructors, consulting with parents, and running small-group environments where children could be seen rather than compared. He believes that true education is personal, relational, and formative. His leadership reflects this: firm expectations, warm guidance, and a deep belief that every child holds a calling worth protecting.
Toro is a husband, a father, and a builder by nature—someone who carries vision, but is willing to build slowly, intentionally, and with integrity. Created Grove reflects not only his experience, but his conviction: children are not products of a system; they are people with purpose.

About Ms. Eva
Eva’s strength is not just in teaching, but in seeing the whole child. She brings warmth, discernment, and a steady presence that helps children feel safe enough to try, speak, and grow. She believes that identity, emotional stability, and a sense of belonging are not extras in education—they are the soil where learning takes root.
Her role at Created Grove includes developmental observation, emotional regulation support, home-school partnership, and the spiritual atmosphere of the learning environment. Families consistently describe her as calm, gentle, trustworthy, and deeply committed to helping children grow with dignity.
Eva’s presence shapes Created Grove into more than a school. It becomes a place where children know they matter, where parents are respected as partners, and where faith and learning are lived rather than merely taught.
